BPMI Awards for 2022

The Biological/Pre-Medical Illustration Program is pleased to celebrate the 2022 BPMI Award Winners:

Matilda Hogan won the new BPMI Leadership and Academic Achievement Award ($300 prize) for a BPMI student exemplifying excellent leadership skills, while maintaining a high academic performance in the BPMI Curriculum. Award winners demonstrate positivity about studying in the major, enthusiasm for Communicating Science Through Art, attendance at events, and encouragement of other students while modeling optimism and a growth mindset about their own work.

Audrie Rathman won the H.T. (Jack) Horner Scholastic Excellence Award ($200 prize) for academic achievement and quality of artwork by a student in their first year of the program.

Ally Abel won the Charles E. Townsend Studio Achievement Award ($300 prize) for highest quality of artwork by a junior.

Ace Lee won the Warren D. Dolphin Studio Excellence Award ($500 prize) for a graduating senior with the best portfolio representing breadth and depth in the BPMI curriculum and professionalism in presentation and in their résumé.
